India’s Adani and DRDO develop vehicle-mounted C-UAS

Adani Defence & Aerospace, in collaboration with the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), has introduced India’s public-private partnership-based vehicle-mounted counter-drone system.

Developed in collaboration with DRDO, the system has been developed to provide long-range protection. Integrated onto a 4×4 vehicle, it features a high-energy laser system for drone neutralisation, a 7.62 mm gun for aerial threat engagement, and advanced radar, SIGINT, electro-optical sensors, and jammers for real-time target acquisition, tracking, and neutralisation within a range of 10 km.

The launch of this system reinforces India’s commitment to developing indigenous defence technologies, reducing reliance on imports.
