Air Space Drone and partners implement UTM system to manage drone flights at Lannion airport

UTM company Air Space Drone  has announced a partnership with the Centre Technologique Drone Ouest (CTDO) to manage drone flights at. Lannion Airport.

According to the company in a Linkedin post: “For the first time, an airport can manage and track approval requests and drone activities in real-time through a single, innovative platform. An ambitious project, with FlyBy… This collaborative project offers a complete solution, designed to simplify and secure the management of drones.”

Services include:

  • Preparation of missions for remote pilots – An intuitive online interface to plan their flights and make requests for approval on the right-of-way of the airport and future CTDO ZRTs
  • Centralized management of approval requests – An administrative module allowing the airport to manage these approval requests with a high level of automation
  • Real-time detection – Advanced technology to visualize drone tracks and monitor compliance in real-time

“This project, led by the Drone Ouest Technology Centre, positions Lannion-Trégor Communauté airport as a leader in airport innovation, says the company.  “Thanks to this collaboration, Lannion becomes a key player in the integration of drone activities, combining advanced technology, safety and regulatory compliance.”
