Sensor integration efforts demonstrated at CENTCOM C-UAS exercise

Anduril Industries reports the successful integration of its Lattice platform as part of US Central Command’s (CENTCOM) Desert Guardian exercise at Fort Drum. Desert Guardian is part of a set of exercises intended to improve CENTCOM’s ability to detect and track drone threats.

Lattice served as a third-party command and control (C2) platform, supporting experimentation efforts led by CENTCOM to identify and integrate new sensors into a unified data platform.

During Desert Guardian 1.0, CENTCOM used Lattice to integrate multiple third-party sensors into a single dashboard. During the exercise, more than ten sensor teams integrated their systems into Lattice, some in real time, demonstrating how the platform can be adapted for operational use to unify air defence from detection to defeat.

As part of the exercise, Lockheed Martin successfully integrated the Q-53 multi-mission radar (MMR) with Lattice. The MMR pushed data to Lattice to integrate and create a common air picture.

CENTCOM will soon host a second exercise at a base in the Middle East.
