AgEagle eBee drones approved for BVLOS operations in Brazil

The eBee range of uncrewed aerial systems (UAS), manufactured by AgEagle and represented in Brazil by Geo Agri, has been certified for beyond visual line of sight (BVLOS) operations in the country. The eBee range is used in Brazil for mapping large areas.

In addition to the eBee, the manufacturer has five other models already authorised by the National Civil Aviation Agency of Brazil (ANAC). ANAC project authorisation is mandatory for Class 3 drones (250 g to 25 kg) and for Class 2 drones (between 25 kg and 150 kg).

The BVLOS approval means that the eBee UAS can expand its range without the pilot maintaining visual contact with the aircraft and without the need for auxiliary observers to fly long distances.
