Zen Technologies launches remote-controlled C-UAS weapon system platform

India’s Zen Technologies in collaboration with its subsidiary AI Turing Technologies has unveiled four remote-controlled weapon and surveillance systems, including a new counter-UAS system.

The RCWS- 7.62 x 51 MMG (Parashu) is a multi-platform remote-controlled weapon system equipped with advanced thermal imaging and anti-drone capabilities. “Parashu is optimized for use on vehicles and ships, offering seamless integration with multiple calibers, making it a critical asset for rapid-response missions and counter-UAV operations,” said the company in a press release.

“Parashu/Calibers is a versatile remote-controlled weapon station designed for optimal performance in various operational scenarios including the ones impacted with drone-based threats,” saus the company’s website. It features a built-in thermal camera that enhances target acquisition and visibility, even in harsh weather conditions, ensuring reliable operation across different environments. The Parashu is lightweight compared to similar systems, making it an excellent choice for mounting on a wide range of platforms, from ground vehicles to naval vessels. In addition to its compact and adaptable design, the Parashu is equipped with auto-tracking capabilities, allowing it to function effectively as an anti-drone system. This advanced technology ensures precise tracking and engagement of moving targets, enhancing situational awareness and defensive capabilities.

“The Parashu can be equipped with various weapon calibers, including 7.62mm machine guns and 5.56mm rifles, providing flexibility for a range of mission requirements. Its combination of advanced features and lightweight construction makes the Parashu a superior choice for modern military applications.”
