Echodyne participates in NATO’s C-UAS drill

Echodyne announced in a LinkedIn post that it has supported NATO’s Communications and Information Agency (NCI Agency) to help with the alliance’s testing of its first-ever counter-drone doctrine.

In the recent Ramstein Legacy drill exercise, participating units familiarised themselves with technology that included electronic warfare equipment, radars, and command-and-control systems through practical exercises and hands-on training.

The drill, held June 3-14, focused on developing NATO’s integrated air and missile defence as well as countering small uncrewed aerial system threats. CS Group and Rohde & Schwarz also participated in the exercise.

Reporting on the drill, Defense News said that GPS spoofing was detected and affected some of the drones.
