Big Bang Boom demonstrates man-portable C-UAS to Oman

Indian defence technology startup Big Bang Boom Solutions announced on LinkedIn that it recently provided a live demonstration of its man-portable counter-uncrewed aerial systems (C-UAS) equipment to senior officials of the Royal Air Force of Oman.

The company demonstrated its Varja Sentinel System, which is designed to detect, track, and neutralise drones at range. It uses passive RF sensor technology to avoid false alarms and features a sensor/jammer combination. The system’s core sensor is built around AI and computer vision algorithms.

Big Bang Boom has also reported that it has held discussions on how the company can contribute towards Romania’s C-UAS requirements. The company recently met with leaders from Romania’s General Directorate of Armaments and Contract Management Directorate.

In March, the company received an order for its C-UAS systems from the Indian Air Force and Indian Army.
