Innov’ATM has announced a new service called DroneMed, designed to make it easy to insert drones and safely in the logistics of healthcare facilities, says the company.
The aim of DroneMed is to provides healthcare institutions and medical analysis laboratories with a turnkey solution from the creation of air corridors dedicated to drones, linking sites to each other, to the securing of recurring operations for the transport of medical packages.
Innov’ATM says DroneMed makes it possible to diversify the existing logistics mix and sets out to remove technological, financial, societal and environmental barriers, allowing the drone to optimises transport in healthcare to make it faster, more economical, more environmentally friendly and ultimately improve patient care. The company expects DroneMed to to reduce greenhouse gas emissions per package by more than 84%, while dividing by 4 the delays associated with road transport.
